**Roving Pro
We welcomed Linzi Dye, Assistant Pro at West Kilbride GC once again this year. Over the three years she has been visiting, Linzi has worked with over 100 Juniors and Beginner Members. The weather was very kind this year and we really appreciate her commitment to our Club. Thanks to Scottish Golf who fund this Programme that helps Clubs without a Professional to access coaching.
**Juniors
Junior activities continue with the Golf Sixes Competition on the second Wednesday of each month. We need parents to volunteer to help Katherine Tindall with this activity, ideally by accompanying kids on their round. Please let Katherine know if you can help.
**Youth Golf
Youth activity runs on the third Wednesday between 4-6. We encourage older Juniors to gain a handicap this year and start to enter Competitions . Please remember to return your cards to the box in the Clubhouse if you play on a Wednesday.
**Seniors Open 6th June
The tee sheet is open on HowDidiDo for the Seniors Open on the 6th June. If you’ve already checked in for this, you can select a time now. We are looking forward to a busy day on the 6th so please book in if you haven’t already.
**Course
Thanks to Alan MacLaine who has been cutting back the rhododendrons on the Course to keep these in check. Any further volunteers to help Alan will be very welcome. And thanks also to John Marshall who has re-painted the red and yellow stakes that line the hazards.
The Course continues to be kept in great shape by John and Calum. The Committee agreed to purchase a new Greens cutter will be arriving shortly.
**Rental Equipment
Helped by a grant from Scottish Golf, we have been able to replace some of our rental clubs with new equipment. The Committee hopes to be able to replace the rental trollies this season with new replacements. Again- thanks to Scottish Golf for the financial support on offer to Clubs.
**Thanks
Lachlann MacLeod has asked us to pass on his thanks to Members for our donation of a Voucher for a four ball. As part of their activities, the voucher contributed to a group of High School pupils raising over £500 for Lucky2be here.
